Seth Hawthorne
General Manager, Customer Publishing

Seth heads the Customer Publishing team in Asia. He is a very experienced magazine publisher having worked in the UK as Publishing Director for Dennis Publishing running their flagship title, The Week, for over seven years. Prior to this he ran the advertising sales operation for Maxim magazine in the UK. He also worked for several years for News International, publisher of The Times and The Sunday Times in the UK, and National Magazines, part of the Hearst Corporation. In 2007 Seth moved to Hong Kong and worked for various local publishers before taking on the role of establishing the office of Photolibrary, the stock image library, in Hong Kong.

Chris Wood
Editor, Customer Publishing

Chris is a journalist who has written and edited for, among others, The Sunday Times, The Daily Telegraph, The Daily Express, Daily Mail Group newspapers and magazines, The Times of India, Prospect Magazine, The New Yorker, The Australian and The Australian Literary Review. He is the former Literary Editor of the South China Morning Post and the former Editor-in-Chief of Asia Literary Review. At one end of the spectrum he has conceived, launched and edited glossy lifestyle magazines and at the other he has edited the works of numerous famous writers from Henning Mankell and British Book of the Year award winner Dava Sobel to Booker Prize winners Aravind Adiga and Anne Enright, James Joyce Award winner Yu Hua, Man Asia Literary Prize winner Miguel Syjuco and dissident Chinese writer Liao Yiwu.

Petula Kincaid
Client Services Director, Customer Publishing

Petula has over 17 years of publishing experience, the majority of which has been with top-tier customer publishers in business development and client service roles. After cutting her teeth in advertising sales with stints at News International, The Telegraph Group and The Irish Times, she worked with John Brown Publishing as account director on the Procter & Gamble magazine account. She was subsequently poached by ILN, another customer publisher, to head up business development there and landed the contract to publish Maserati’s magazine. Never one to let the grass grow under her feet, she seized the opportunity to move to Seven Publishing to run the portfolio of magazines for Sainsbury’s – the second largest grocery retailer in the UK. A subsequent move to Hong Kong in early 2010 brought her to Edipresse.

Pauline Chow
Advertising Sales Director, Customer Publishing

Originally from Macau, Pauline has worked in media sales for over 15 years. She began her career with the Mandarin Hotel's magazine before working in Beijing for a lifestyle publisher where she gained extensive knowledge of the China publishing market. She joined Edipresse in 2011.
