Gilbert Cheah
Managing Director

A graduate of Boston University, Gilbert Cheah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications. He later joined Bostonia magazine, first as a staff writer and later, as marketing manager and then advertising sales manager.

After 13 years in Boston, Gilbert moved to New York City as Associate Publisher of A. Magazine: Inside Asian America, the U.S.\\\'s largest Asian American publication. He was later promoted to Senior Vice President when the company expanded to become aMedia.

Gilbert returned to Singapore in 2001 when he was recruited by SPH MediaWorks to serve as Vice President of Publications and Branding. Gilbert was also commissioned by the Singapore Tourism Board to write a book on Singapore\\\'s Orchard Road, published in 2003. He has also served as co-headwriter for a season of the top-rated TV drama series Heartlanders.

In 2004, he joined Singapore Tatler as Managing Director and has launched successful new titles such as Singapore Tatler Homes, Singapore Tatler Weddings, and The Best of Singapore.

Debbie Ong
General Manager, Edipresse Solitaire

Debbie Ong started her publishing career in 2001 managing regional titles ranging from lifestyle to government-funded publications. Ong later moved on to a travel trade publishing firm as a Sales and Marketing Manager.

Armed with regional publishing experience, Ong joined the Solitaire team in 2007 as Advertising Manager, shortly promoted to be Associate Sales Director. In 2009, Solitaire held its inaugral jewellery exhibition in Hong Kong - Solitaire JewelGala - where Ong expanded her portfolio to include Show Organiser.

She is promoted to General Manager in 2010 succeeding the founders' work.
